ELECTION NOTICE

MEETING OF THE GENERAL COUNCIL: ELECTION OF OFFICE BEARERS AND MEMBERS OF WORKING COMMITTEE MEMBERS OF INDWF

This is to inform you that the Working Committee of INDWF at its meeting held at Kanpur on 30^th June 2012 decided to hold the General Council meeting and 20^th Biennial Conference on during the month of February 2013.  The Working Committee of INDWF in its meeting held at New Delhi on 23th June 2013 also discussed the same and decided to hold the 20^th Biennial Conference and conduct the election of the Office Bearers and member of the Working Committee of INDWF.  Now the conference will be held on 23^rd and 24^th August, 2013 at Armapore Estate, Kanpur.

SCHEDULE OF ORGANISATIONAL ELECTIONS

            Organisational elections as provided in the constitution of INDWF related to election of delegates for the Biennial conference and relating to election of members of the General Council of INDWF would be hled as under:

1.    Preparation of lists of Unions:

The list of unions qualified by payment of affiliation fee, membership and number of delegates entitled will be prepared by the National headquarter and send to all the Unions latest by 15^th August, 2013.  Any change in membership should be communicated to INDWF by providing a copy of Annual Return latest by 15^th August, 2013 along with the payment of affiliation fees, if not cleared.

2.    Payment of Fees:

a)    The delegates of those affiliated unions which have cleared the affiliation fees upto the year 2012 will be qualified to participate in the forthcoming election s of General Council of INDWF.  The Unions are intimated about the dues of affiliation fee payable of INDWF.

The Unions should clear the affiliation fee for the calendar year 2012 latest by 15^th August 2013.  All payments are made through Demand Draft in favour of ‘INDIAN NATIONAL DEFENCE WORKERS FEDERATION’ payable at New Delhi.

b)    It is difficult task for collection of affiliation fees at the venue and as such all unions should clear the fees before hand to collect the delegate cards.  Delegate Cards/Observer cards will be issued if the unions are cleared their affiliation dues at the venue.

c)    The Affiliated unions are required to remit the dues of affiliation fee, if any along with Delegates/Observers fee @ Rs.50/- per delegate/observer.  Such unions which fail to clear the dues of affiliation fee upto the period in (a) above, will not be entitled to participate in the elections of General Council members and in the deliberations in the Delegates Conference.

d)    In addition to delegate fee, INDWF will charge a sum of Rs.100/- per Delegate/Observer towards documentation charges.  The Reception committee will issue food coupons at a nominal charge.
