DEMAND WEEK BY INDWF 10-8-2009 TO 14-8-2009

OBSERVING DEMAND WEEK FROM 10-8-2009 TO 14-8-2009 BY INDWF

Dear friends,

INDWF, in its working committee meeting held on 23-07-2009 at New Delhi under the chairmanship of Sri. Ashok Singh, resolved to observe the protest week demanding to fully implement the orders of Revised Pay on the recommendation of VI CPC and its related issues including the payment of 60% arrears on VI CPC revised pay.

All the affiliated unions are requested to fully observe the demand week with full enthusiasm and following all the methods of Gate meetings, Issue of Hand bills ,Wearing Badges, Holding Demonstrations, Procession etc…Also you may submit a memorandum to the Defence Secretary and Head of the Directorates, through your Head of the Establishments during the demand week.

On completion of the programme kindly submit the report to the Federation. Programme should be successfully adopted to raise the image of INDWF.

  2. The Managing Committee of Ordnance Factory Karmachari Union, Ambajhari, Nagpur unanimously resolved to observe Demand Week from 10.08.2009 to 14.08.2009 as per the directions of INDWF.

  3. The Office bearers and Executive council of The National Defence Workers Union, Ordnance Factory, Tiruchirappali-16, had unanimously decided today in its Executive Council meeting(02/08/2009) to observe the Demand Week From 10/08/2009 to 14/08/2009 as per the direction the INDWF.

    The INDWF is the only federation which is paying the attention to the interests of the civilian employee working under the ministry of Defence.

  4. The HVFNWU (HVF NATIONAL WORKERS UNION) has decided to observe the demend week from 10/08/2009 to 14/08/2009 as per the direction of INDWF.
    We are very proud to inform everybody that our INDWF General Secretary Sri.R.Srinivasan is the President of our HVFNWU.
    Hence we have decided to hold demonstration, procession and gatemeetings to make this programme successful.

    Respected Sir,

    1. It is to intimate your goodself that we are working in MES as unskilled/semi-skilled industrial staffs (Mazdoor/Mate).

    2. As per recommendation of 6th CPC,we have recently been placed into Gp-C pay band with GP-1800.In connection,it is to be noticed that the 6th CPC has also recommended for devision of appropriate designation viz 'SKILLED WORK ASSISTANT'(Ref Para 3.7.9(ii) of CPC Report) to the personnel upgraded from their erstwhile Gp-D posts after merger of unskilled and semi-skilled categories of Industrial Staffs.

    3. The matter has not being resolved yet despite of repeatative request sent from various quaters.

    4. You are therefore,earnestly requested to take up the matter at the heighest level as is involves interest of mass people.
